Recently, we’ve been receiving many inquiries asking if we have albums that could hold 180-200 images. We’ve come up with a solution for you: create a photo collage! Our company only accepts one image file per slot. So to solve this dilemma, you could arrange several photos onto one canvas, save it as a single .jpeg file, then send it to us. By doing this, you could include 180-200 images in our 150-image G150 album. Even with our smaller C50 album, it would be possible to include 80-100 images.

This year has flown by!

In the remaining days on 2011, we wanted to let you know about new options for our original leather covers. We’ve added two new color choices—navy and orange—joining the currently available options of black, red, ivory and brown. With these colors and the beautiful gloss of Italian leather, these album covers are in an exquisite class of its own.

Don’t forget: You have the option of adding a buckle and/or cover image to any of our albums. Cover images can be sized and positioned any way you wish.

As you know, La-vie crafts its albums by placing genuine photographic prints over a mat board and gently sealing them with a high-quality laminate.

Prints have silver-halide emulsion, which retain beautifully rich colors. And because our albums are handcrafted, you have the option of inserting a wedding invitation or any other keepsake so as long as it is smooth and flat.

You may have wondered why we use letters and numbers for our different album types, for example, G100, G120, G150, H50, H70, H100, and H120. The number indicates the maximum number of images allowed in each album. After looking at the images received, La-Vie designers specially craft each and every page of your album. So if you were to submit 80 images for the G100 album, you’ll notice it’ll have bigger images than if you were to submit 100 images. For the G100 album, we can allow a maximum 104 images, but some images may by smaller than if you were submit fewer images.

 Please note, for the H70 album, you will not be able to increase the number of images to 80. If you want to use more images, please select the H100 album.

As you know, each and every La-vie album is 100% handcrafted. Now, we’re offering letter engravings on whatever page(s) you wish. You can add up to three lines of engraved text per page, and a maximum 30 letters (including spaces) per line.

Among five different font options, you’ll have an assortment of colors to choose from:

F1: dark grey / light grey / silver / gold / black / white

F2: dark grey / light grey / silver / black

F3: dark grey / light grey / silver / black

F4: dark grey / light grey / silver / black

F5: dark grey / light grey / silver / black / white

If you don’t have a particular color or font preference, make a note of it in the Remarks section of the order form (“No color/font preference”) and our designers will make the best selection for you.

We wanted to announce new design options for our H-Type albums.

Our signature H-Type albums (50, 70, 100 or 120 images) contain beautiful fold-out panel pages which are perfect for horizontal shots (interior views of the church, etc.).

 Up until now, these fold-outs appeared in a pre-set order in the album. Now, for an additional $50, you can place the fold-outs in whatever order you wish.

To request this option, please note it in the Remarks section of the order form that you can download from;

The Order Number will be sent to you by email after we’ve received your order. It will look something like this: “L-000.” This is the number we use to keep track of your order, so when you have questions for us please be sure to include this number in your inquiry.

Our company has two leather cover options: Original Leather (in black, red, ivory or brown) and Classy Leather (in black or brown). In the past, our original cover option was decorated with a buckle, and a 3 x 3 inch cover image was placed on the upper-left corner. Now, with both our Original and Classy leather covers you have the option to either include or exclude a buckle and cover image. You can also scale and place the cover photo any way you wish (i.e., 5 x 5 image in the center, 3 x 3 image in the upper right corner, etc.). Please state your preferences in the “Remarks” section of the order form, and we’ll confirm with you by email.

We hope that everyone has been able to utilize our file uploading service. Remember:

1. Order forms must be downloaded from this site  HERE. http://www.la-viealbum.com/file_upload_form.php  Completely fill out the form. Please do not use previous versions of the order forms because we will not be able to process it.

2. Place all files into a Zip file. We cannot accept files which are individually submitted.

3. Include the order form into the Zip file. If you don’t include it, we won’t know who the Zip file is from.
